The BDPA Scholarship Fund

The BDPA Scholarship Fund is to promote innovative excellence in a young person's life. It is awarded to help fund a member's education for their future career pursuits so to enhance their BDPA performance experience.

A maximum of three $500 scholarships are awarded each year at Family Day. Awards are selected by the BDPA Scholarship Committee which is directed by the BDPA Board of Directors.

BDPA Scholarships for academic work are awarded each year at Family Weekend. The president of the BDPA Board of Directors selects the BDPA Scholarship Selection Committee, which will choose the receipt(s).

The application deadline is June 1
To be eligible, the applicant must be enrolled in college or a vocational program and a current participant in a BDPA Program. A current participant is defined as a member of the current season or the immediate past season of a BDPA winter program.
The award committee will also consult with appropriate BDPA staff as scholarships are awarded.
Once awarded a scholarship, winners are no longer eligible to apply.
