These are just a sampling of more than 100 items that will be up for bid in the Blue Devils 60th and Santa Clara Vanguard 50th Anniversary Gala Cocktail and Live Auction being held June 24, 2017, at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara.
Online bidding for the Cocktail Auction is now open, giving fans across the globe the opportunity to participate and support all programs of Vanguard Music and Performing Arts and BD Performing Arts. Online and onsite bidding for the cocktail auction will close during the Anniversary Gala on June 24, so guests on site, along with those who could not attend, can all get in on the bidding excitement.
Appealing to all interests, and all budgets, the auction will offer a little something for everyone! The Blue Devils will also hold a Live Auction onsite at the Anniversary Gala on June 24. Online bidding for this Live Auction will not be available, although guests will be able to preview the items prior to attending the event.
“We want every Blue Devil alumni, parent, friend, and fan to feel a part of the festivities, even if they cannot attend the Anniversary Gala,” said Justin Heimbecker, CEO of BD Performing Arts. “Not only is the Cocktail Auction a fun way to get involved and support our performers, we’re also planning on Facebook Live videos from the event to bring the celebration right to you.”
