April 6, 2001 - The Blue Devils are very proud of staff members Scott Chandler, Tom Float and Stephanie Lynde for being elected to the DCI Hall Of Fame.
Scott Chandler currently works as Program Coordinator and Choreographer for The Blue Devils 'A' Corps. In 1990 with his arrival at The Blue Devils, he instantly elevated the creativity of the programs and overall experience of the members. His skills have varied from writing guard work to arranging music to uniform design to direction of stage productions.
Tom Float was percussion arranger and instructor with The Blue Devils from 1982-1990 alongside his wife Catherine who instructed the pit. His efforts to further the evolution of percussion had a huge impact on the organization and its members.
Stephanie Lynde started as a color guard member from 1971-1977. Following her member years, she became a color guard instructor and main dance choreographer from 1980-1989. She introduced the new color guard uniform and dance style to the activity in 1981. Stephanie also taught the B Winter Guard and A Winter Guard.
They join other Hall Of Fame members (and BD associates)
