This summer, USBands brings immersive educational experiences to students, dancers, and educators across the country. Whether you are preparing for the upcoming season or refining your craft at an advanced level, the Summer Education Series offers focused, high-impact training alongside some of the most respected names in the marching arts.
USBands Summer Education Camps
Our multi-day camps deliver in-depth, interactive instruction and side-by-side experiences with members of The Blue Devils. Participants engage in section-specific breakouts, leadership sessions, and hands-on learning with drum corps staff, including corps-specific material and design insight. You will experience a full ensemble rehearsal up close, gaining practical understanding of performance excellence at the highest level.
Registration includes meals, a commemorative T-shirt, and a DCI event ticket. Educators may earn professional development hours through dedicated sessions with drum corps staff and the USBands educational team.
Held prior to select DCI events, these half-day clinics are fast-paced and content-rich. Students and dancers train side-by-side with members of The Blue Devils, The Cavaliers, or The Mandarins, working directly with drum corps and USBands educational staff. Participants explore corps-specific material, attend targeted breakouts, and observe ensemble rehearsals in real time before attending the evening performance.
Each registration includes a T-shirt and DCI event ticket. Educators are eligible for professional development hours.
Music Educator Receptions
At select DCI events, music educators are invited to complimentary receptions designed for professional dialogue, idea sharing, and community connection. These sessions feature concise, high-impact talks from respected leaders in the activity, followed by structured networking time with peers.
Group discounts are available, including tiered savings for larger registrations and one complimentary educator registration for every ten students.
Across every format, the goal remains consistent: to elevate performance standards, strengthen leadership, and inspire meaningful growth in musicians and dancers at every stage of development.
