BDI Color Guard Takes the Stage in Thailand

The Blue Devils International Color Guard has officially arrived in Thailand as Special Guests at the Thailand World Music Championships, taking place December 16–20 in Sisaket. Their arrival marks the beginning of a meaningful international journey and a proud moment for BD International and the global pageantry arts community.
Ahead of Thailand World Music Championships 2025 (TWMC), The Blue Devils were formally welcomed to Thailand by H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, highlighting the cultural significance of the event and the international respect held for the organization. The delegation also received a warm welcome from key cabinet members, including H.E. Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; H.E. Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; and Ms. Sabida Thaised, Minister of Culture. This special invitation brings a select cast of 10 exceptional performers to the world stage, where they will both perform and engage in educational outreach, sharing their artistry and experience with performers and audiences from across the region.
Led by renowned Blue Devils designer and instructor Shavon Garcia, the ensemble embodies the excellence, innovation, and educational leadership that define the Blue Devils legacy. Their presence in Thailand reflects the organization’s enduring global impact and its role in shaping the future of the pageantry arts.
This tour is more than a performance opportunity. It is a cultural exchange that celebrates creativity, connection, and the universal language of movement and music.
