Where rhythm meets philanthropy and performance amplifies every act of generosity.

Impact amplified. Music that builds atmosphere and multiplies momentum for a mission.
Every spring, more than four thousand guests fill the Jacob Javits Center for one of the most meaningful nights in New York City. The Robin Hood Annual Benefit is more than a fundraiser. It is a cultural catalyst that unites philanthropy, storytelling, and performance under one roof.
BDEntertainment has proudly partnered with Robin Hood to design and deliver custom live band performances that elevate the evening’s theme and spark connection through sound. From our first year to our most recent collaboration, BDE has created experiences that resonate far beyond the final note.

Drumline performers build anticipation with glowing visuals and synchronized percussion designed to create a powerful opening moment for the Robin Hood Benefit audience.

Live music entertainment tailored for meaning and message.
Each year’s benefit centers around a powerful theme. BDE has worked closely with top-tier creative collaborators including David Stark Design and Productions, Nimblist Production, and acclaimed choreographer Sarah O’Gleby to bring those themes to life through live music performance.
Our ensembles are more than a drumline cast or band for hire. They are fully integrated into the visual storytelling of the evening. From wardrobe to movement, everything is aligned with intention.

A custom ensemble of brass and drumline performers added flair and personality to the Robin Hood Benefit while uniting music with a message of generosity.

Creating energy that matches the stakes of the night.
In 2017, under the banner of Love and Leadership, BDE created a marching band look that turned heads and turned up the energy. Performers wore black blazers patterned with white stars and white trousers, providing a stark and elegant contrast to the event’s green and white palette.

That year, BDE shared the stage with iconic artists like Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, and Sting. Our performers delivered an unforgettable entrance that set the tone for a night of generosity, unity, and shared purpose.

With bold colors and movement, this performance was created to match the energy of the event and uplift the crowd during the Robin Hood Benefit in New York City.

Performance as presence. Music as architecture.
In 2022, the Robin Hood Benefit took a new visual direction with the theme “Windows are the eyes of a city.” The space was transformed into a grid of perspective and light. Each BDE performer wore custom looks created by Ryan Park Design and received tailored hair and makeup styling from Lindsay Block.
The drumline instruments were finished with custom-branded heads from Evans to reflect the Robin Hood identity across every beat. The result was not just a performance. It was a living installation, a moving expression of the city’s diversity and resilience.

The full cast of live musicians and performers closed out the evening with a high energy set that brought people to their feet and highlighted the mission of the Robin Hood Foundation.
