Maverick Peterson is a musician that has served as a professional educator, arranger and consultant for nine years. An accomplished expert in his profession, Maverick has taught and consulted for nearly 40 marching percussion ensembles, composed and arranged over 50 shows for percussion and visual ensembles, and composed music for several independent short films media projects. He has performed with the Dallas Mavericks Drumline, FC Dallas Drumline, Golden State Warrior Drumline, Blue Devils Entertainment and Dynamic Rhythm Entertainment. As a prior member of the Insignia Indoor Drumline, Surround Sound Percussion and Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, Maverick makes sure to always spread his expertise while seeking additional knowledge.

Maverick currently serves as the owner and primary music designer at Arena Music where he composes, arranges, and creates sound effects for indoor drumlines, winterguards, and marching band percussion ensembles. He acts as a consultant to numerous marching bands, helping them to incorporate electronics into their programs and streamline their front ensemble’s setup.

Maverick is also the Assistant Percussion Director at Nazarene Christian Academy in Crowley, TX where he teaches four 5th and 6th grade beginner percussion classes, the middle school and the high school front ensembles. During the winter season Maverick is the Front Ensemble Composer, Arranger and Sound Designer for the Vigilantes Indoor Percussion Ensemble based in the Dallas Fort Worth area. During the summer he serves as the Front Ensemble Arranger, Sound Engineer and Front Ensemble Instructor for the Blue Devils B Drum & Bugle Corps from Concord California. Combining his passion for music and over 11 years in the activity, Maverick aims to bring quality music to the ears to the masses.
