Suzanne Dell is currently an Associate Band Director at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, TX. Her responsibilities include conducting Concert Band, teaching Applied Music and IB Music, teaching beginning brass classes in the cluster, and working with the L.D. Bell Blue Raider Band. During her time at Bell, the marching band has been a Bands of America Regional and Super Regional Finalist and was the 2015 Atlanta Super Regional Class 4A Champion, and a 2016 Texas UIL 6A State Marching Contest finalist.
Suzanne began teaching in 2003 at Mountain Ridge Jr. High and American Fork High School in American Fork, Utah. During that time, the American Fork Marching Band was a Bands of America Regional Finalist, Grand Nationals Semi-Finalist, and performed at the 2004 Presidential Inaugural Parade.
Suzanne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas, where she studied Horn with Bill Scharnberg, and a Master's in Wind Conducting from Messiah College, where she studied under Dr. Brad Genevro. She lives in Bedford, TX with her husband, Nick, and their two boys, Jacob (15) Jonathan (9).
