A lifelong percussionist and multi-instrumentalist, Emile marched his first year with The Blue Devils "B" Drum and Bugle Corps in 2013 with the Euphonium section. For 2014 and 2015, he moved to the Front Ensemble where he was a part of earning the sixth-in-a-row Best Percussion Performance Award at DCI Open Class Finals in 2014, and was Open Class World Champion in 2014.
After the 2015 DCI season, Emile joined BDWinds, where he served as principal percussionist until 2017. He also started teaching locally at Deer Valley High School before finally settling as a Music Program Consultant at Heritage High School from 2016 to 2020.
From 2018 to 2020, Emile worked at Ygnacio Valley High School as Percussion Caption Head and Arranger. Under his direction, the school earned a silver medal for percussion performance in their division with the Northern California Bands Association (NCBA) in 2018 and 2019.
Aside from supporting BD Performing Arts Programs, Emile currently works as a Percussion Instructor and Arranger for Liberty High School and Freedom High School, Music Consultant for John Swett High School, and is on the Operations Team of The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps from Salt Lake City, Utah.
In his spare time, Emile loves to volunteer time to his church, where he teaches lessons with missionaries, and helps guide and inspire the youth. He also loves to ride motorcycles, spend time with his cats, and prevent MainStage from crashing again.
