From Chandler, Arizona. David Hales has been involved in Music since the age of 6. Following his father's footsteps in drums, he joined the Santan Jr. High band program at began learning Percussion. When he went on to high school, he joined the Chandler High Wolf Pack Pride Marching Band. He did a year in Front Ensemble, and than moved to Bottom Bass. Under the instruction of Wardell King he marched bass drum for the 2008 season as they marched in the Fiesta Bowl National Band Competition. He than went on to march Bottom Bass at The Academy Drum & Bugle Corp for the 2010 season. When the DCI season came to a close, he joined the ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, as 5th Bass. Under the instruction of Wes Anderson & Roberto Paz, he became a member of the ASU Drumline and would march from 2010 - 2013. After aging out of DCI with The Concord Blue Devils in 2013, he would become a World Music Ambassador with System Blue, performing and instructing throughout Taiwan & many parts of Europe. Now taking his DJ career to new heights as DJ Rokkwilder
