Sean Snyder grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. While at the University of Tennessee, Sean studied tuba with Sande MacMorran, founding member of the Army Brass Quintet, trombone with Don Hough and wind band conducting with WJ Julian.
After marching with the Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps, Sean served on the brass staff for the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, Star of Indiana Alumni Corps and has been on the brass staff with the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps since 2003. Additionally, Sean has taught music and marching for multiple BOA bands including Lassiter High School (GA), Carlton J. Kell High School (GA), Kennesaw Mountain High School (GA), Northmont High School (OH), Clinton High School (TN) and Ooltewah High School (TN).
As a performer, Sean has always been very involved in his local music community performing with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Appalachian Ballet, Knoxville Jazz Orchestra, Cobb Wind Symphony, Tara Winds and the First Coast Wind Symphony.
Sean is a Certified eDiscovery Specialist and Relativity Certified Administrator at Voya Financial and currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with his wife, Christine, and son, Evan.
