Stephanie Webster is a San Francisco has ed musician. Ms. Webster earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts: Music with an emphasis in composition from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2012, a Master of Music degree in Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2014 and a Master of Music degree in Marimba Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2015 in the studio of Jack Van Geem. She also studied percussion with Trey Wyatt and her past private instruction has been under the tutelage of Conrad Susa, Dr. Martin Rokeach and Dr. Frank La Rocca (composition), Artie Storch (percussion) and Dr. Lino Rivera (piano).
Recent notable performances include a duo recital with Jack Van Geem as a Showcase artist for the 2015 Zeltsman Marimba Festival, Reich's Drumming with Steve Schick and the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players and Cage's Branches and Inlets for the opening of the SF Symphony's SF SoundBox under the artistic direction of Michael Tilson Thomas.
Ms. Webster currently teaches at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in the Pre-College department as well as with the Blue Devils Organization in Concord. She maintains a full private teaching studio of piano and marimba students throughout San Francisco, Mill Valley and the East Bay.
