Scott Nelson
Scott Nelson played tenors with the world champion Blue Devils from 2010 to 2012. During his time at the Blue Devils, Scott won the 2010 Multi-Tenor Individual and Ensemble Competition, the 2012 Fred Stanford Drum Title and the 2010 and 2012 DCI World Championship.
Prior to his time as a member of the Blue Devils he was a member of Mystikal, Pacific Crest and the Bluecoats drum and bugle corps.
In addition to his participation in DCI, Scott has experienced performing in Winter Guard International with the famed RCC Winter Drum line from 2009 – 2013.
Scott gives back to the percussion community through teaching multiple ensembles throughout southern California, including his alma mater La Quinta HS, as well as Chino HS, Shadow Hills HS Valencia HS.
