Jared Andrews is on staff for the 18 time World Champion Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. In his 6 years with the corps they have won DCI 4 times, 3 undefeated seasons, and have won the Fred Sanford percussion award twice having never been out of the top 3 in percussion.
Jared is also a System Blue Ambassador being both a System Blue artist and clinician as well as being a part of the design and development team for the System Blue products.
He has recently ended and 11 year relationship with the RCC fall marching band as well as the accomplished WGI World Percussion group where he served as the battery caption head for both ensembles as well as the arranger for the fall marching band. In his time with the ensemble RCC has risen to world wide acclaim as well as providing entertainment for a number of Hollywood television shows, movies and music videos.
Recently Jared has been contracted to serve as the battery ensemble coordinator for the world renowned WGI Indoor Percussion Ensemble Rhythm X. He looks to continue to forging new ground in the activity while still retaining his signature style.
Also new to Jared’s groups is the worlds oldest and most acclaimed Drum Corps The Kidsgrove Scouts. For the 2017 season Jared helped to consult as well as organize the training regimen needed to catapult the Scouts into a new era. He looks forward to returning for the 2018 season as he will continue his work breeding a new style, culture and success for the Kidsgrove Scouts.
As an accomplished arranger and composer in the marching band and winter drum line activity, Jared has been writing, arranging and program coordinating for the SCPA and WGI finalist Dark Sky Percussion and SCPA Finalist Aliso Niguel High school and Fountain Valley High School as well as the Arizona based Williamsfield High School. Jared also serves as a percussion clinician and arranger for the internationally know Kamehameha High School in Honolulu, Hawaii and also the BOA Grand National class A champions Adair High School.
Jared is a graduate of the University of California at Riverside where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Music. He is also a Level 1 graduate of the KCP International Language School in Shinjuku, Japan.
