
Patrick Seidling currently serves as Director of the BD International Corps and is on the management team for the A corps. He has held multiple roles within BDPA since 2007, including serving as the A corps Director from 2014 thru 2024. Prior to 2014 he assisted in a variety of roles for the A corps, from general support staff to assisting in housing and transportation.
Additionally, Pat developed and managed the System Blue Educational programs from 2008 thru 2015, was a B corps driver in 2008 and a C corps parent in 2009 and 2011.
Pat also has been a manager on multiple BD International events since 2010, including events in Malaysia, Taiwan, Lithuania, Switzerland, South Africa, Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico and Costa Rica.
Pat came to the Blue Devil family in 2007 after a long career as a member, instructor and director for Midwest-based drum corps including the Sundowners, Pioneer, Madison Scouts, Southwind and Phantom Regiment.
Awarded the DCI Director of the Year Award in 2003, Pat was the Director of the Phantom Regiment from 2001 through 2006, overseeing one of the activity's great rebuilds. Prior to his work at Phantom Regiment, Pat was the Director of Southwind, leading them from inactive status to 13th place in DCI World Class in just 2 years and before that was an Assistant Director with the Madison Scouts.
A graduate of Louisiana State University and a former classroom teacher, Pat also works in the apparel industry and is often called on to serve as a wardrobe and technical adviser for film, commercial and television productions, including the hit TV series "Glee!", 9-1-1 and "The Goldbergs".
Pat lives in Los Angeles with his lovely wife Tamee and has three grown children and 4 grandchildren.
