Dan Wahl is an accomplished performer and teacher in Southern California. He has performed with many celebrated groups and companies such as RCC Indoor Percussion, Concord Blue Devils, Disneyland Parks & Resorts and Universal Studios Japan.
Dan was a member of the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps in 2001 and 2002 where he marched in the bassline and earned two Silver Medals at DCI World Championships. He was also a member of RCC’s drumline from 1999-2003 during which RCC won their first WGI Independent World gold medal in 2002 with the show “The Sound of Silence.†Dan returned to RCC in the Fall of 2007 as an instructor and remains in this position to this day.
Currently, Dan works as a Regional Sales Manager for Lone Star Percussion serving West Coast schools, organizations and individuals. He can be found at many shows and events either manning the drum booth or cheering on todays many talented percussionists.
Daniel credits his success to a number of highly influential instructors and mentors, including Tom Float, Scott Johnson, Sean Vega, Vince Gardner, Omar Greene, Roger Carter, Rob Slack, Chad Wackerman and Todd Miller. His education includes a Master of Business Administration degree from the Argyros School of Business & Economics at Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton.
