Joaquin has 30 years’ experience as a performer, staff member, drum tech at James Logan High School, San Jose State University, The Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps., The Sacramento Freelancers Percussion Ensemble, The United States Army 91st Division Band, Oakland Military Institute, Blue Devils Entertainment, and the 191st United States Army Band. He has been instructed by, performed with, and instructed with some of the best in the world of marching percussion.
In 2019 his job relocated to Boise, Idaho. He is the Property Administrator for Valiant Global Defense responsible for the United States Army National Guard - Mission Command Training Support Program at Gowen Field.
He is on the Board of Directors of Armada Corps in Boise, Idaho a performing arts organization that has a Percussion Ensemble and Winter Guard that competes in local and regional WGI competitions.
23 years and counting in the United States Army , now serving in the United States Army Reserves. Currently assigned to the 757th Expeditionary Railroad Center at Fort Sheridan, Illinois on a Railroad Operations Advisory Team
