Ryan is the General Manager for BD Entertainment. Included in this role is acting as director of Niner Noise, the official drumline of the San Francisco 49ers, and Aftershock, the official Drumline of the Golden State Warriors. In addition to servicing the Warriors and 49ers, BDE provides entertainment for nearly 100 corporate events every year, both locally and around the world.

Ryan served as Head of Percussion for the Blue Devils B from 2007 to 2017, and was the bass technician prior to that from 2004-2006. During his tenure, BDB was crowned the DCI Open Class Champion 5 times (2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2016), and won the DCI Open Class Best Percussion Performance title an unprecedented 7 times in 8 seasons (2009-2014, 2016).

Ryan’s marching career included 18 seasons as a member of Blue Devils A, Blue Devils B, and Blue Devils C from 1986-2003.
